WatchThatPage!
Of free tools, this one could help you to monitor your favorite web sites.
www.watchthatpage.com is a free web-based crawler to install an automatic watch of basic websites…
It will be useful if you don’t have a RSS reader to get automatic feeds, if you prefer emails instead of feeds, if you favorite web site doesn’t provide with RSS subscriptions, etc.
My first tests showed that the service is relevant for basic pages.
Be careful: this kind of free service doesn’t replace professionnal solutions like www.kbcrawl.com, www.copernic.com if you have to monitor complex sources, secured pages, web sites with captchas, etc.
Here below the commercial presentation of watchthatpage:
WatchThatPage is a service that enables you to automatically collect new information from your favorite pages on the Internet. You select which pages to monitor, and WatchThatPage will find which pages have changed, and collect all the new content for you. The new information is presented to you in an email and/or a personal web page. You can specify when the changes will be collected, so they are fresh when you want to read them
